Id like it to be 1”x 4” vertical slats arranged in a circle about 2’ in diameter … basically an upside down bucket that an antique hand powered water pump would sit upon.

Somethin like this but i would use it upside down and mount the pump atop.

The flute and bead bit is typically used for making strip canoes so im not real sure if it would work.
