Nice, Nerd. Another Incra / SawStop combo. Congrats. The double-headed incra fence is interesting. Never thought of that approach.
You'll love the double dust collection with the Incra and the router box. It sucks in everything, which really is saying something with a router.
You should add a few details / pictures of the blade guard dust collection hose. It's not easy to execute.
Very nice job. Can't wait to see the outfeed table. Make sure to check out Tedth66's folding outfeed table before building yours. It's an amazing engineering accomplishment.
bigike - I'm working on the writeup for the dust collection with lots of photos, it took me a long time to puzzle out how to do it. Especially when having to make custom PVC fittings like this monster.
zzzzdoc - I'm still working on mocking up the outfeed table, so it'll be a while (although hopefully not another year). Not even sure if I can pull it off, what I've got in mind is going to be a little complicated and may not be worth the effort. Tedth66's table is nice and if I punt on my design I may look to his for inspiration.
I actually have the miter channel sitting in the shop, but haven't gotten around to (or needed) it yet.
Two reasons for the platform. One, I have a bad back and hunching over while working aggravates it very quickly, so I like having all my work surfaces around 38". Second, it lets me use a pallet jack to easily move machines.
nice setup and like the table saw platform. Also like the idea about using a pallet jack to move things around. Great idea and saves your back for sure.
No, I'm only about 5-7. But I have a really bad back that get's aggravated by leaning over my work, so I find that putting all my work surfaces at 38-40" helps a lot.
I understand I'm around 6' and have raised my table saw 3" it does help on my back, but makes it a little harder for an old guy lifting heavy sheet goods a little higher.
