Yeah, this maple wood spalts up real nicely. We cut it at what we feel was the perfect time, all color spalting and absolutely no wood degradation. Db, I run a bandsaw we can cut up to 72” wide… I’ve cut 59” so far. We collect trees that people need to remove but don’t want to see go as firewood. We have some nice logs laying around, gonna slice them up for artistic woods and see if we can get our money back. Been a lot of fun so far.
