I don’t know what the problem is, it looks like the throat insert is lower than the table. if that’s the case,why would that cause a problem when cutting?
You don’t put pressure on that spot anyway, it is after all too close to the blade, if you need to know whether the table is flat or not ,you will (as mentioned) need to use a longer straight edge and check the whole table/both sides of the blade.
The main concern should be if the fence is 90°to the blade /table. if the miter saw cuts 90°, then it is good to go.
