I think I’ve seen that same article. It’s either in FWW or I may have seen it in an old American Woodworker on Google Book. I have several dozen older FWW and I’ll take a look as soon as I get a chance (right now have to read to my 10 year old – kinda late, but it’s April break for the kids here). You might take a look at Google Book, but be warned, it can suck you in. One other spot to check is Woodsmith. These are the three pubs I’m most familiar and it’s likely in one of them.

But it wouldn’t surprise me if you get your answer from an LJ in short order. Only been a member a short time, but it’s clear to me that they’re a very helpful, knowledgeable bunch. I’m a newbie and have learned much here. Great bunch.
