Hi Wayne;
I use www.blogdesk.org and www.openoffice.org and both are free downloads. For small time blogging like here, BlogDesk works great and allows you to save and also has a spell checker, this one is a great tool. For my other blogsites and long term writing I use OpenOffice which also includes spell checkers and gives me the use of many more writing and drawing, plus graphic tools.

Indispensable tools both of these are for one who wants and needs to write without having to strip their wallet of hard earned bucks and you can also say no to the ‘gates machine’ since they’ve already got enough money.

I might add that if all your looking at writing and saving for is here at LumberJocks then BlogDesk will do just fine, and you also won’t lose what you are writing…..save, save, and save.
