I agree with using 1/4” plywood panels for the back and sides. If it is pinched in there, between the stove and the wall, you could get away with 1×2 legs, it wouldnt have the opportunity to rack side to side. Same thing goes for the apron, if its pinched in between the stove and say the wall, i dont think it would be necessary. Remeber its just wood, changes can always be made along the way.
