Based on his feedback and looking at the items he has previously sold I say you will get the item he is describing, although it may a pirated version.

The item he is selling is also available for "free" download on several "share" sites out there so there is small chance that it is a pirated copy. If you want the item and that is a good price you should buy it. If it turns out to be a scam then eBay will give you your money back. If you don't want to take the chance of supporting pirated media then the only option you have is buying directly from Taunton, as anyone with even limited computer skills can produce a pirated copy of a DVD or CD that will be identical to the ones that Taunton sells. I could go into great depth on the subject but not here.

I didn't know it was free on share sites. It didn't make sense to me that someone in Thailand would be selling more than one used copy, matter of fact, it doesn't make much sense for any individual to have more than one used copy to sell.

I subscribe to the online version of FWW, so I can search anything there. Not sure why I even bothered to bid it :)) other than it popped up.

I suppose Taunton will do anything they see fit to attempt if it is counterfiet. Can't image why they allow it to be on a free share site since they are still marketing the content.

A second chance offer is a clue that someone got caught trying to shill there bid. (Bidding it up)
Let him relist it if he is serious about selling it.
5 years ago I bought a lot from ebay. I rarely even look at it any more !(She says I am cured) lol

I'm sure they aren't allowing it to be on a free share site, somebody just uploaded a copy and they (Taunton) just aren't aware of it's location. While it's not as popular as pirated music, many people "share" books and magazines online as well.

I bought the 2010 version at Hartville Tools last month. What a great deal!. The navigation and search features are all so easy to use!

Topo- I think you may be jumping to conclusions on this one. Second chance offers are routinely sent when the high bidder decides to shaft the seller and not pay. It doesn't mean he has more than one of the discs. He's got 100% positive feedback, maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt rather than just assuming he's a scammer?
