I have the Jet version of the 22/44, but it is only 1¾HP 120V, and I think it really needs 3HP and 220V!

All but useless without the tables -to be really useful it needs full infeed and outfeed roller beds. Overall I find this a very finicky tool – at least for long stock, which is mostly my need. The slightest wiggle and the board needs another pass. I can only guess it was developed with face frames or other short pieces in mind. Its also quite sensitive to paper grit; I wouldn’t dare try to sand more than a few thousandths at a time off a wide hardwood plank for fear of having to run another ten passes to remove the inevitable burn stripe.
