I am interrested in attending Cerritos- I would have to travel 30+ miles. I started to fill out the application and it takes forever, they want tons of information. Is that’s the norm? Having to go through the registering process if all you are only interested in learning wood working and taking classes without the need for a degree? I missed the dead line of August 16 to sign up. Any tips in how can one get in the class without this long process?

I am also interested in learning by doing, and placed a craighlist ad, asking if any woodworker in the area would be willing to teach me in exchange for helping for one day per week. All I received were proposition from perverted individuals- I quikly removed the ad.
