Hey everyone, this is Ron's son(also named Ron). I'm posting this for him while he gets the table saw set up.

We recently were given two boards and are having some trouble figuring out what they are. I figured someone on here might know. The pictures were taken on iPhones, so the color might be a tad off. Hopefully it is close enough for someone to recognize, and thanks in advance for any help.

That bottom one looks like purpleheart or incienso. 2 species which look so much alike I can't hardly tell them apart. The incienso smells sweet and the purpleheart is slightly more purpl-ish and has a little more white in the grain.

The pictures definately don't capture the true colors. We built a small table today and will be finishing it soon, hopefully we can get some better pictures then. The boards had been sitting in a shed for years. Probably had been laying around for longer than I've been alive(21yrs). When they were given to us they were coated with so much dirt and dust that we thought they were the same type of wood.

Thanks for the input guys! Maybe once we get the table finished and under some better light it will be easier to tell what types of wood they are. After comparing some pics I found to the boards I am leaning towards cherry and mahogany myself.
