Not sure why I was selected to be WWJ's Woodworking-Rock-Star-For-A-Day, but it's nice to be home again with Joanna Takes and Rob Johnstone. In the latter part of the last century, they had enough faith in me to start my "career" in publishing. And for that, I'll always be grateful.
I really think the title of the article is weird.
I know what they were trying say but just reading the title without knowing you it sounds like they are saying you are animated, you are not real.
oldnovice: Two definitions for animated. You're reading the second. I prefer the first.

: produced by the creation of a series of drawings, pictures, etc., that are shown quickly one after another : produced through the process of animation
Very nice article John and well deserved praise as well. I like to think of you as a 'wood engineer' or 'master animator'. At any rate your work is a step beyond woodworking that requires a creative mind and some serious skills. I'm always looking forward to your next whimsical and humorous creation. Keep up the good work!
