I would do that, but that requires another vacation day on my behalf. One, I would have to come up with a damn good reason for me to take a short notice vacation day tomorrow or Friday. Two, I am out of vacation if I still intend to take a trip in October(already booked) and if I want time off for Christmas. For me, it is a case of not having the time to do it. I originally thought this establishment would allow weekend pick ups, and that is why I placed the bids. After my check was in the mail, I found out that they did not. Threw an enormous wrench into the system, but I was able to get 2/3rds of what I purchase. This final third would be nice to have, because it has a nice price value to it, but I just wont be able to go get it. I have a retired friend who is considering making the drive, but I wanted to put this out to the general community. $250 doesn’t cover what I paid for it at auction, and I was the only one to place a bid on them. It is a dirt cheap offer, and I would rather see another guy make something of the material, or make a buck off it, than to have it thrown away. Would it be nice to put another $250 in my pocket? heck yes. However, it sorta doesn’t matter to me, because I am profiting a fair amount off the other lots I purchased and picked up.

This is more about helping another woodworker out and keeping good lumber out of a landfill!
