You’re probably going to have to drive about 1.5 hours to Kettle Morraine Hardwoods which is in Hartford or there is also one in Caledonia a couple miles south of the Milwaukee Airport. My father in law (a bigtime woodworker and wood stockpiler) lives in Janesville and makes the trip into the Milwaukee area about 1x monthly to see what’s new and cherry pick the good stuff.
