welcome to the site louie…ive made several myself and they were a lot of fun to make…as you probably know…getting your design done is the first big step…since you want it to maybe look antique, choosing your woods would be a factor..maybe if you Google “antique jewelry boxes” and view the pictures…you will get ideas for the one you want to make…if you do a search here at this can look at all the ones that have been made by the jocks here…there are some beautiful ones, with some very neat design factors…now another thing will be your wood skills…if your up to the challenge , then don’t let doing a quality build go from your mind…you can do anything you put your mind to doing..and we will help you along the way if you would like..i would do the things ive mentioned and then when you begin the project if your going to need help..start another forum with your question and you will get a lot of help from other jocks here….good luck with it…and i think your doing good by deciding to go this rout instead of will be much happier doing it this way….grizzman
