It’s actually going to be even less of a difference if you add all the same accessories as the 3hp saw.

Dust collecting blade guard ($139)
T-glide 36” fence + table (?...$350?)

It would end up being a $200 or so difference, which makes perfect sense I suppose in that it’s the difference between a 1.75hp and 3hp motor.
