Good idea Wayne. A froe is just about at the top of my list for rust hunting. I haven t run across one yet. From scratch means different things to different people but at least once I d like to go from felling a tree to final project using only hand tools. A froe is about the only thing I m missing but an axe is a lot easier to fell a tree with than an axe, so I d like a felling saw and a one man crosscut saw too. I don t really want to push it any farther into purist territory, but I think it would also be fun to blacksmith one woodworking tool like a chisel.

I ll get some pictures of my broad axes and adze tonight and post them.
