I use double-sided carpet tape for a lot of temporary jigs. I use the Duck brand found at Lowes in the carpet section (not found with the rest of the tapes). Holds good for sticking templates for routing, stop blocks for multiple cuts, angled vertical stop blocks for mitered spline cuts, tapered jig guides, etc. Pop the piece off with a putty knife after the cut. If I want to make it permanent, I brad nail or screw it down without removing it. Go -- Go http://ncwoodworker.net/pp/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=730 |
