Ditto on the TiteBond II. I’ve found if you press the pieces together for a few seconds then pull them apart for about a minute—when you press them back together you get a fairly fast tack and a reasonable set time.
If it absolutely positively has to go together immediately—I reach for my trusty brad nailer to supplement the glue.
If there is any risk of contacting a sawblade or routher bit—ignore that last comment.
Of course—there is always contact cement.
