I am on my second shop with OSB walls. The first one I ran OSB over the existing sheetrock because of the extra strength it provides against damage. OSB loves to suck up the light so I will be painting my current shop this summer. I won’t paint the sheetrock ceiling, just the OSB walls. I then plan to trim it out just to make it look nice. I thought over just adding another 600-1000 watts of light but decided that the paint would look better and that I wouldn’t have to add any more light fixtures.
