I suspect the “whs” are initials? Any decent Stanley #8 could be worth a fair amount…a Bedrock in good condition will be worth even more. Condition and type influence value. “mvflaim’s” estimates sounds about right. As a comparison, I sold a Bedrock 605 for $85 that was restored and had a repaired tote…it was a good user but had little collector value. A 608 in original condition would fetch quite a bit more IMO.

To upload pics, you first need to put them on a photo hosting site…Photobucket.com works fine and is free. Once you’ve uploaded the pics to the hosting site, the pic will have a URL address as a “direct link”....it’ll start with “http:” and end with ”.jpg”. (ie:http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y203/hewood/Planes/Bedrock/Bedrock2002.jpg). You need to copy that URL on the photo hosting site, then come back to LJs and click on the “insert image” icon in the upper left corner of the reply dialogue box and paste the URL there.
