I am glad to hear that one of our own purchased her lathe. At lease she can be sure it will remain in the “family” and she can glimpse some of the projects it will produce. I was truly sadened to hear about her medical troubles….I would be totally lost without my time at the lathe…it is excellent for de-compressing after a stressful time at work….etc. From your blog, dick, it sounds like she still has an outlet (nice sounding shop) and hopefully will recouperate enough to enjoy it.

Congrats to you Dick…and to Barb for her consent.

Looking forward to your projects with your new larger lathe.

I just finished some inside out turning that is going into a plant stand for someone. I just need to complete these projects a bit quicker so that I have time to take a few pics (learning to take decent pics would also be of great benefit).
