While I am not geographically close to you, I understand your reasoning for wanting to carry on the woodworking. My father, and grandfather were both woodworkers. (Dad is still with us, but no longer woodworking due to health issues not related to woodworking…).

I have often wondered if there is something, well… genetic about us woodworkers and fellow crafts persons that makes us do the things we do.

I do agree that there should be geographic groupings. I don’t know if Martin wants that much of an administrative nightmare though…
