12 Inch Miter saw blade

I recently picked up an Hitachi c12fdh. I had been considering the Dewalt DW715/716, a Bosch CM12 or the hitachi, but walked into the blue big box and saw it on special for $199.99. I promptly found a flat cart, and it came home with me.

The blade on it is a 12inch 32t (what is this even used for? Hatchet chopping 2×4s?), so that has to go.

Theres the obvious fast choice of the diablo d12100x, but I think I want something more.

Im looking at the freud LU80/LU79. Im pretty sure I want full kerf (any reason I shouldnt?)

Other options im entertaining are the dewalt dw7674 which is crazy expensive but has HUGE carbide teeth (but strangely doesnt get amazing reviews in the 1 or 2 ive found). Also, the forrest duraline looks pretty cool. Most projects go through the miter saw which till this point had been a harbor freight 10in slider. I dont mind spending some money for this blade.

For 12" full kerf is the way to go IMO. LU80, Duraline, Chopmaster, Infinity, CMT 210.096.12 are all excellent choices. The Hi-ATB grinds will have the lowest tear out, but the shortest edge life.

I have had good results with the diablo 1280X. Reasonably priced, great cuts. I'll be damned if I see anywhere what the tooth grind is but they do recommend it for miter saws and sliding miter saws.

Fact is, the full kerf cheap crap they put on my miter saw flexed during cuts - this thin kerf blade doesn't seem to flex at all!

I am heavily leaning towards the LU80… however..

If I do go the route of the diablo, i noticed that diablotools has the d1280x listed as being a .118 kerf with an 80t hi-atb grind, whereas the d12100x is .97 kerf with an atb grind. This makes the d1280x at $55 look like a lot of blade for the money.

Why would these blades differ so much? I would have thought they were the same blade with increasing numbers of teeth, however the d1280x looks like a far different blade. Are these numbers im looking at wrong? I cant find a ton of info on the d1280x except for what EEngineer just posted above.
