Mark, I too have read a lot about Maloof. How does he do his joints? Your asian work too is impressive. I love the curves and seemingly floating aspect of much of that type of furniture. But Sam grabs you, you know there are many hours in there. Thats what intriqued me about his joints they are so natural, and have to be strong. By the by I’d show a pic of the inside of my shop but its too dang messy. You’re a generous man to share the input that you do with the experience you have. I too have a bunch of walnut and thats what people want. I’m just fininshing a 15” hard maple platter on my lathe I’ll show you when its done. again, it’s not for sale either. mike
