The bits in the photos are Whiteside router bits. I don't believe Infinity makes any like these. I've been using the double bearing Whiteside compression bit for quite a while and it is a great bit. When I was looking for a larger compression bit with upper and lower bearings only Whiteside had them…maybe that has changed?

its not new
its just new to those who aren't in the trade
keeping up on the newest and greatest innovations, be it hardware, be it tooling, be it tools
is almost always decided by the result of having perfection
be it a hand plane
a bench
or unparalleled engineering
none of which come cheap : )

Thanks for the post. I've seen them before via Eagle America I think and wondered if the $$ was justified. Glad you had the results you did using them. When the wallet gets fattened up some, I will consider buying them…..
