It wuold be nice if we can see some pictur´s of them
that will make it a lot esayer

1) you place them in a vice upside down and check for varping and then use a pencil to highlite the
high spot to see were something had to be moved
and then you place a straight square block on the sand paper on a flat area and lap it
but you can see in one of this guy´s vidiopodcast http://logancabinetshoppe.weebly.com/index.html
he is realy knowing a lot abaut wooden planes

2) foto needed to see what you meen

3) you can use boiled linsed oil as the old guy´s did
