I was going to say that I use cheap sandpaper on my green turnings (I get the sandpacks from the $1.00 store)....and a wet/dry paper for the higher grits so I can rinse off the clogs (sometimes it just won’t come out…even with a strong brush). I have yet to find any paper that does not clog on green wood….Once the wood is dry and cured I will go to a higher grade paper like norton. I have heard from a guy that swears by tumbling in sand….I haven’t seen the results yet…but it would be nice not to have to hand sand so much. He made his own tumbler from an old washing machine….I am waiting to see how that works.
