The X2BF has both a motor brake and foot brake so when shut off by the switch it will stop spinning in about 3 seconds or you can apply the foot brake and accomplish the same thing. Meaning if you use the foot brake on the X2BF it shuts the machine off and stops the wheels from spinning. Is that correct?

Yes, I think this is correct. I did a lot of digging about a year ago and my understanding is that the X2BF’s foot brake shuts off the saw and engages the motor brake, just like the off switch. Also, in the parts diagrams for the G0513X2F and G0513X2BF on Grizzly’s website, you can see the brake shoes and related parts, so it seems you could engage both the motor brake and manual brake on the BF.
