I bought a set of brass router guide bushings and a set of reducer kit for a 1 3/16 PC router, from what I understand they come in two widths. Nothing about thicknesses. I bought a plate and inserts for my router also. when I went to put the bushings in the inserts they fit width perfect but not depth. I had to make spacers/washer for them to fit. Did they send me the wrong bushings or did I get rejects?
GaryK - I bought these bushings acouple years ago from Pricecutter.com, I made a washer from a thin piece of plastic to make it flush with and works fine and just dealt with it. Here's a link to show you what Im talking about. http://www.eagleamerica.com/product/400-1419/router_accessories
these are supossed to sit either flush or just shy of the top of the insert plate or base plate on the router u might just have gotten some rejects or something. u could have gotten them from ebay for a bit cheaper thats where i got mine from and they work fine.
