Nototto – the clamp is simply a piece of flat bar welded to the square tube. The flat needs to be narrower than the solid portion of the chain guide.

As for the depth measurement, I just use a tape measure to ensure the distance between the underside of the sled and the top of the chain. I found that I need to measure both ends of the jig as it often does not stay parrallel during the adjustment.
