Hello Men,
I am a wife of a woodworker who has spoken of the Kreg pocket hole jig. I would like to surprise him for Christmas. I am a homemaker and was wondering if any of you might know who sells this system and what else I should get along with this to help his projects.
Thanks for your advice

You can get it at Woodcraft. Below is the link to the store in Dayton. As for supplemental gift advise, it depends on what kind of projects he does. The folks in woodcraft would be able to give you some ideas. I would think that videos, small tools, or even wood would be appreciated. They also have gift certificates.
I've been wanting one of these for awhile but haven't gotten around to it. When I do get one though I'll be getting the 'master system' It seems to have the right collection of accoutrements to go with it. It's $139 or $149
Greetings: I would recommend the Kreg K4 system. It'll have everything he needs to get started.
It's $99.99. Plus-I would consider a 3" or maybe a 6" clamp. If that's a little pricey, then the Mini Jig is a good starter. There are several different price ranges to choose from. He'll really like it, I'm sure. Oh-and maybe some screws to get him started. Just ask the salesman for help. He'll know. Hope this helps a little.
Menards, Lowes, and some Sears stores sell the K4 and sometimes the K3MS as well. For Lowes you can normally pick up a 10% off coupon from the Post Office in their Moving packs.
Woodcraft is great, and their staff is almost always helpful, but the big box stores will typically beat them by $10 on each system.
However, Woodcraft is having a pre-Black Friday deal on the K3MS through November 25th which I believe includes 500 screws and some other items, at $149 it is worth the extra money.
Also, WC has a gift card bonus, I think a straight edge and something else for the purchase of $50. Another route would be to pre-purchase one of their classes for him. Below is a link to their current offerings.
Wow, (Regarding the Kreg pocket hole jig question)
What a nice way to find information. I can't thank you guys enough for all of the advise on this. You all had something unique and helpful to add.
Thanks Again, I appreciate it so much. I hope you all find fun ways to spark your craft.
Be the change you wish to see in the world,
Mrs. Stephenson (aka one of Santa's Elves….)
I have the Kreg Master 3 on my wish list as well and would find the package of assorted "most used" screws as a nice and since this jig does require special screws.
