I lubed it today. Made sure to really get the lead screws. Still, it’s like the motor should translate with the movement of the blade but it doesnt. Mechanically that doesn’t make sense since the motor is stationary. Should I tighten the belt with the blade dropped and let it get tighter as it raises? That, to me, could stall the motor. Can’t wait to get that 1960’s unisaw in. I’ll use this craftsman as an anchor for the s.s. regret.
