I am a busy contractor (luck in this economy) - now doing commercial and municipal mechanical work, but in the past (and another company) I have done a tremendous amount of spec homes and remodeling. I've done framing (many years), concrete forms, pouring and finishing, roofing, tileing, rough carpentry - basically you name it in the construction field

My hobby has always been finish woodworking - I've loved this since I watched my grandfather make Killarney Oak style furniture in his own shop (he did most by hand - he only had a couple power tools that I remember).

Tools are another of my "many obsessions"....Isn't it a great feeling to have the proper tool to do the job you need to do?

I joined LJ after reading some of the reviews and posts. It is one of the greatest benefits of the internet to have such a reference and source for tips and techniques close at hand - I remember when we had to go to the library to find a little bit of info.

Thank you all for the welcome!

I haven’t had time to work on updating my profile…add a few projects and what have you, but I will try to find the time somewhere.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying the blogs and viewing the excellent projects that folks are posting.
