Welcome to Lumberjocks!

Hey, LJ, he’s here!
The new guy has arrived!
Lets welcome him to Lumberjocks
And make him feel alive

5 bucks he says, Hi, I’m new here!
Before he starts to post
The Artists here are really good
But, the new guy, I like most

Here comes the art from high school
A box he made with Dad
It doesn’t matter much to me
The story makes me glad

It’s fun to read the comments
As soon as they arrive
You guys have made a better man
And now I feel alive

The other day a dovetail post
Came up for our review
2000 friends came to his side
and wrote kind words, so true

Then along comes a guy
who jokes he wants to fight
We commented and drank booze
till wee hours of the night

And just when winter turned me
to rotten apples in a bag
our dear ol’ friend Mafe
posts a hilarious Gag

I just had to stop and think….
to love life and let live.
It’s with friends like you guys,
I have so much to give.

Love to all,

In loving memory of Abby – 2011

A very nice poem. It brought a smile to my face. My condolences on the loss of your dog.

Patron, whats up with the thing on your dogs neck.

That was a wonderful way to say hello to spring.
I have a wonderful big smile on my lips, to read your words, and to realize I made you smile.
Thank you! I am very honored.

Saddened by your loss, Mark. Have a good cry, let go, look for the rainbow and rekindle a joy of life. Abby would have wanted that for you.

Awesome Poem. I only had one dog in my life, a black lab named Sonia. she passed when I was 12 and I could never bear to have another. At times she was my only friend in a neighborhood where I was incredibly lonely and scared, She was my tackle dummy for Football, she was my protector, and my pillow. Since then I have only had cats.. here is Rula …
