I've been a casual woodworker since about the time I bought my first home. Most of my projects tend to be rough, large-scale projects that are used for practical purposes around my house, like decks, benches, planters, etc. I also like to build as many of these projects from recycled lumber, most of which are supplied to me by friends and family with material that they are looking to unload - as the saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure. I'm willing to take almost anything because I can use some of the stock to become more familiar with tools that are new to my arsenal - practice makes perfect!

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
