I recently replaced my bench’s front vise with the Lee Valley (Veritas) Quick Release Face Vise which according to my extensive reading is one of the best for this purpose. I bought the David Barron Dovetail Guide last summer when I ordered a couple other things from David. I played with the guide and watched David's YouTube video on how to use it.
