I've been dabbling in woodworking since college. I really enjoy playing in my workshop whenever life doesn't get in the way. My real passion is scroll sawing. I really like the flexibility of the tool and the creative possibilities it provides. I run a fairly popular scroll saw site called Scroll Saw Goodies (http://www.scrollsawgoodies.com). My blog highlights various resources from all over the internet, including tips, tutorials, reviews, galleries, and free scroll saw patterns. I invite you to stop by and take a look. Perhaps leave a comment or two. Even if you're not interested in scroll saw work, there is so much great stuff to look at and read. And who knows, I might convert you to the wonderful world of scrolling!
I've been a part-time lurker on Lumber Jocks since it started. I guess it's time for me to throw my hat into the ring and start participating. I look forward to talking with you, share a few of my projects, and steal....errr....borrow some of your ideas! ;)

Well Hello Travis,
I just found out you joined. For some reason I never got a notification that you had joined OR that you had added me onto your Buddy list which I now have promptly done the same!
Now to anyone here at LJ’s please check out this mans blogspot, especially if you are a scroller or intarsist (yes that is a real word) LOL!!! You will not need to look any farther for links to patterns, free patterns, or just good ol’ fashioned ideas. I am sooo glad you joined Travis. Now don’t be a lurker!

Hi Travis, First off, what are you doing using my ex-wifes picture as yours???
I inherited an old power craft scroll saw from my dad after he passed. Maybe i’ll go to your sight to learn how to use it for something besides dust collecting.
