My shop is in half of my basement and was completely open when I first moved into my home in 2002. I put up a wall shortly after getting my table saw to cut the basement in half and keep the dust down.

The first picture is when you enter my shop with my table saw up front, a miter station to the right, then a drill press. On the back wall is my work bench, scroll saw, Leigh Dovetail jig, and working to the left is my router table, jointer, planer, and my home made 22” drum sander. On the adjacent wall is lumber storage.

Great to see another basement shop. Us underground woodworkers need to stick together!!

You really have utilized your space well!

I have to agree that you have utilized your space well. It is well organized and you have some nice tools to play with. It looks like you have plenty of light in there, which basement shops at time lack. Nice shop. I would enjoy working in there.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed visiting with you.

Very nice shop. Well laid-out. I could spend a lot of time in a shop like yours. I see you have your fire-extinguisher on the wall. Where is the first-aid-kit?
