I'm an amateur woodworker with a lifetime of practical experience.
Started off in dads shop as a child, moved on to my own, strayed away for MANY years to the dark side with metal working and vehicle mechanics.
Recently inherited my fathers (and grandfathers) full shop full of tools, built from his lifetime passion of building, woodworking, cabinet making etc...
Inevitably that passion rubbed off on me, and I can only hope to be able to honor his memory with some works that will be used for generations to come.
I think I have a good foundation, and the folks on this website are a valuable resource to help with my development.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself almost a year ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
