Cupping panels - 4 replies I am sure that you all have answered this question many times but please bear with me. I have glued up several panels for projects and have always had difficulty with the pannels trying to cup. I have tried cutting boards to 3-4 inch withs before gluing and flipping the end grain to try an equalize/relieve the stress but I always get some cuppin... |

Sharpening Cabinet Scrapers - 16 replies I just bought a new set of cabinet scrapers and have tryed sharpening them a few times today. I used a the mill file and squared up the edges and a burnishe to form the hook. Unfortunatly I am only getting saw dust when using them, I can not get the hook right to get shavings. I need suggestions to correct this or possibilities of what I am doin... |

handcutting dovetails - 5 replies Hello all. I need some help/advice on the best (maybe easiest) way to lay out dovetails and technigue to cut using hand tools. Have always used a router and jig. but wanted to try something new on an upcomming project. thank for any help and advice. |
