Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I love this site, I hope you will enjoy it too.

Look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless

thank you for the warm invite and kind words. This site is so active – I enjoy looking at the projects every day!
I recently (year and a half ago) built my own sawmill, and have been preoccupied with that in my spare time. However, this past summer I milled approximately 1100 bft of 150 yr old cherry. I am in the process of drying it and look forward to building a few pieces of funiture for my wife. I quarter-sawed some red oak in the fall of ‘08 and made a quilt rack for my wife on valentines day…. she loved it.
Once again thanks for the warm welcome folks!
