I'm a retired truck driver after thirty years on the road I had to have several back surgerys. I have always played around with wood working projects and now have all the time in the world to work on more projects, of course when I feel good.

I have two grandchildren that keep me pretty busy. My grandson is the running back on a local football team that went undefeated all the way to the championships. My granddaughter is in her first year of college at University of Pittsburgh and made the womens basketball team. They sure know how to make a grandpaw proud.

Back to my woodworking, my shop used to be a 12x14 out building but due to the cold weather and going in and out in the cold my wife let me take two of the back bedrooms for my shop. I opened them up and now have a 14x24 shop. Now thats what I call a good wife! Can work year round now.

I always loved making cabinets and furniture so I went in another direction with my scrolling. I now make picture frames, jewelry boxes, several toys and have been trying to make my own jigs and fixtures. The next thing I want to try is intarsia. Jack of all trades and master of none. Always willing to learn more.

Learning about the computer so please bare with me. Will attach some pictures later on.
