Drill Guide - 7 replies
Has anyone used a power drill guide? Have a project requiring a multitude of 1/2 inch Forstner Bit holes to be made or a 90. Do not own, or have access to a Drill Press, and looking at the Wolfcraft, General, and Craftsman drill guides.

Kitchen Pullout Drawer - 13 replies
Getting ready to cut some Baltic Birch Plywood for Kitchen Pullout Drawers, two questions if I may; 1-do the sides / front/ back get attached to the Top of the drawer Bottom, or to the sides. 2- Using a 140 tooth plywood blade, how do I limit splintering. Thanks.

We plan on doing a few Kitchen Pullouts in the near future. Have info from the DIY site, and they specify using Baltic Birch Plywood in 3/4 . The pullouts we plan on making, will be for some pots and pans, as well as baking sheets with rolls of paper good [ wax paper ect]None of the pullouts will carry anywheres near 75-100 lbs, does anyone know...

Would anyone have suggestions on making a whirlygig from wood, have tried a Flamingo, approx 2 feet tall, and cannot get any propellers to spin well. Made hubs from plywood, have pieces of dowel attached to hubs, which are connected to blades cut from 3/4 basswood. Works ok with the fan blowing on it, not so well outside.Primarily interested wha...
