This was created for a wonderful client in New York who intends to use it as a gift for her husband.

This particular piece of Ash has one the most fantastic grain patterns I’ve ever worked into a paddle – I love it!

Use the scrollsaw to cut the out the Hops flowers in the paddle and my CNC Router to carve the name in the handle area.

Overall, paddle measures 43 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and is a solid inch thick.

Only finish is a quick soak in 100% food-grade mineral oil.

I’ll miss this one when it ships!

Nice, it doesn’t look like the normal grain of ASH.

Looks great. This paddle would also be great for spanking the kids as it would leave a nice leaf pattern on their butts. No, I’m not into child cruelty, or PC.
