This winter I spent time with artist in the small community of Juan Mata Oritiz, Chich Mx. They are a group of great pottery artist. I went to study forms and shapes for 4 days. I came back with so much more. One of the younger artist in the dirt poor town ask me to leave him a turned bowl and said he would get it back to me. This is the way it was returned. This is a 6 inch box elder root burl that he painted for me. Yes another collaboration and this too worked.
