This is a project that I built late in 2013 as part of my Cabinetry and Woodworking Tech diploma.
Machining took place on a Busellato Jet 3006 CNC. All files were drawn up in AutoCAD.
Outer base is made from soft maple. Cherry was used for the interior. Walnut was used for the text banners, and then maple again for the maple leaf (duh).
The maple leaf is removable (held in place by rare earth magnets). Underneath the maple leaf there are three little chambers that hold the pins for score keeping.
