A little project for a home. Made from beech. Finish is linseed oil and liquid wax. Build details are in my blog

Design is great. Extend the size for a kitchen paper towel holder. Dovetail dowel is super detail.

If you don’t think it will be built strong enough for the job, you could always incorporate metal reinforcement

hee hee enjoy yourself, I always enjoy some time in the library err the toilet LOL guess you need to put a charging station on there too.
