Needed a bridal rack. Didn’t want the hooks just on the wall and wanted it to match the trim around my two doors. This is what I came up with. Thanks to LJs I’ve now become VERY detail oriented with my cuts. Little by little I’m using less and less wood filler. Starting to want a stained wood build. For stuff like this I want it to blend into the house not stand out. Thanks for looking.

very nice. Good blending with the other trim.

... just out of curiosity, why is it called a Bridal Rack?

It for horse bridles. That is the beginnings of our tack room through the door on the right will be the rest. Sorry about the delayed response.

You got me Good! All along I’m thinking “BRIDE” As in “Will You Marry ME?”

Not you Goodcat. You’re not my type. ....LOL… Guess I had bitter Polish up on my Spilling!!

Thank you for the Apology but you Responded pretty Quickly. THANK YOU!

Posters who DON’T even watch there own Posts drive me around the bend! Especially when you’ve gone to a fair amount of time Replying.

You did a nice job on the Rack and it “Blends” Very Nicely!.

Thanks again for the explanation.

I have a theory that many of those who do not reply to their own posts are professional woodworkers showing of their work here more as free advertising. They’re not interested in being part of the community, and definitely do not want to give away their trade secrets.

So what your say Rick, is ” I have a nice rack”? Lol by the way thank for righting my picture. I’m still working on getting the right. I’m thinking I have to take pictures with my phone horizontal, I tried rotating the picture after it was taken and you see what I got up above. LJ your probably right, or it’s just photo hosting. It’s kind of silly not to interact though. I’m a contractor and I love it when someone gives me constructive criticism. Like my Kung fu instructor always said the only difference between a master and a grand master is the details. I’m a humble student learning from everyone here.

LJ & Cat:

You both have good theories about not following Posts. Another I have is the Number of Members here that have their own Personal Woodworking Sites on Everything they Post. 2 other Forums I’m on that would get you Booted Off.

I can’t honestly say that I object to that. If they get some business from here all the power to them. I also like to go to the occasional Site and have a look around or just ignore them.

I’m also starting to see a few Guys using THIS SITE as their Posted WWW Address.

IE: SamSpade@lumberjocks.com. I don’t think that should be allowed. It doesn’t get them anywhere anyway. Unless I’m missing something and they’re using it OFF Site? Or it gets on Google.

Anyway I don’t want to turn Cat’s Project into a “Grumble Topic”.

Later Guys.
