My 5 ft tall wife needs a step stool in the kitchen to reach the second shelf of the cabinets. She had a cheap dollar store one that my son tried to use and it fell to pieces. So when Steve (WWMM) made his version on YouTube, I thought this is the ideal step stool for the wife. Pretty straight forward build. Watch Steve’s video (link is above) and it will show you everything. My mortice and tenon skills need practice but it turned out OK.

Did anybody pick up on the Wagner HVLP to the left of the stool? That’s an antique compared to today’s models. This is what I painted the stool with.
